Turn on a video for each listing
ListingMate can make a short vertical video for your just listed, open home and just sold posts. You watch each one before it goes out.
Videos are part of the Agency plan.
Turn videos on
- Step 1: Open Connections and scroll to Listing videos.
- Step 2: Turn on Make a video for each listing.
From then on, each new just listed, open home and just sold post gets a video in your brand as well as its image.
Watch a video before you approve it
- Step 1: On Approvals, a post with a finished video says Goes out as a video.
- Step 2: Press Watch video.
- Step 3: Watch it through. This is exactly what will be published, with the caption on the post.
- Step 4: Close it and press Approve.
If the video is not ready
A video takes a while to make. Until it is finished the post says Video being made. You can wait, or approve now and the post goes out as the image.
If you do not like the video
- Step 1: Press Watch video on the post.
- Step 2: Press Use the image instead.
- Step 3: Confirm with Use the image.
That post will go out as its image. Other posts are not affected.
Messages you might see
The switch is not there
You see: Videos are part of the Agency plan.
Why: Your agency is on the free or Solo plan.
- Step 1: Press Choose a plan beside the message. See Plans, prices and what is free.
The video changed while you were looking
You see: The video for this post changed after this page loaded. Refresh the page and look at it again.
Why: The video finished, or was remade, after you opened the page. ListingMate will not publish a video you have not seen.
- Step 1: Reload the page.
- Step 2: Watch the video again, then approve.
A post went out as an image when you expected a video
Why: The post was approved while its video was still being made, or the video could not be made after three tries. ListingMate sends the image so the post is not held up.
- Step 1: Nothing to fix on that post.
- Step 2: If videos are never being made for your posts, contact support.
