See how a post will look on Facebook and Instagram
The preview shows a post roughly as it will appear in each app, before you approve it.
- Step 1: On Approvals, find the post and tap Preview.
- Step 2: Switch between Facebook and Instagram at the top of the preview.
- Step 3: Close it and approve, edit or skip the post as usual.
The preview cuts the caption where each app usually hides the rest behind a link to see more: about 250 characters on Facebook and about 125 on Instagram. If your most important words are below the cut, move them to the first line.
Note: It is an approximation. Facebook and Instagram do not publish their exact layouts, and they differ from phone to phone.
To check the image itself at full size, tap the picture on the post instead.
