ListingMate could not read your brand from your website
Why reading a website for its logo and colours can fail, and what to do instead.
Reading your website is a shortcut, not a requirement. If it does not work, fill in the Brand kit by hand. See Set up your Brand kit.
Your website blocked the read
You see: Your website would not let us read it. Some websites block visitors that are not a person.
Why: Your website's security turned ListingMate away.
- Step 1: Fill in the Brand kit by hand.
- Step 2: If you want it read anyway, ask whoever looks after your website to allow ListingMateBot.
Nothing usable was found
You see: We read your website but could not find a logo, colours or a font on it. Fill in the form by hand.
Why: The home page did not have a logo or colours in a form ListingMate could pick out.
- Step 1: Upload your logo and set the colours by hand.
The address has a mistake in it
You see: We could not find a website at that address. Check the spelling.
Why: No website answers at the address you typed.
- Step 1: Check the spelling. Type the address the way you would in a browser, for example youragency.com.au.
The website was too slow
You see: Your website took too long to answer.
Why: Your site did not respond in time.
- Step 1: Press Read my website again in a few minutes.
You have tried too many times
You see: You have read your website 5 times in the last hour, which is the limit. Try again in an hour, or fill in the form by hand.
Why: There is a limit of 5 reads an hour.
- Step 1: Fill in the form by hand, or come back in an hour.
The address is not a normal website address
You see: That is not a public website address. Use the address people type to find your agency.
Why: The address was a number, had a login in it, or pointed somewhere private.
- Step 1: Type your public address, for example youragency.com.au.
