When posts go out

How each post in a campaign gets its date and time, and how soon after that time it is published.

Every post has a go-live time. An approved post is published at the first check after that time. ListingMate checks every ten minutes, so a post set for 9:00 goes out between 9:00 and about 9:10.

How a campaign picks its dates

  • Just listed goes out on the launch date you gave when you made the campaign.
  • Coming soon goes out before launch, if the listing has a coming soon date.
  • Open home goes out the day before each open home, to your feed and to Stories.
  • Feature goes out 7 days after launch, as long as the property is still for sale then.
  • Price improvement, Under offer and Just sold are drafted when those things happen to the listing, and wait for your approval.

Posts are set for 9am in your agency's time zone unless you change them. You can move any post that has not been published. See Move a post to another day or time.

Things that catch people out

  • Posts go out on any day of the week, weekends included. ListingMate does not skip a day by itself.
  • A post that is not approved by its go-live time does not go out. It waits, marked overdue, and publishes within minutes of you approving it.
  • Approving a post never changes its date. If the date has passed, change it first or it publishes straight away.
  • A post for a property that has since sold or been withdrawn is not sent, even if it was approved.

Note: Times on every screen are shown in your agency's time zone. See Set your agency's time zone.
