What a campaign is, and the posts in one
A campaign is the full set of posts ListingMate plans for one listing, from coming soon to just sold.
When you start a campaign, ListingMate plans a post for each moment in the life of the listing, writes each one in your agency's voice and makes its image. They all arrive as drafts. You approve the ones you want.
The kinds of post
- Coming soon: before the listing goes live, if it has a coming soon date.
- Just listed: on the launch date. This is the one post that can go out as a carousel of several photos.
- Open home: the day before each open home.
- Feature: a week after launch, picking out something about the property, if it is still for sale.
- Price improvement: when the price drops. A price that goes up, or a price that is hidden, gets no post.
- Under offer: when the listing goes under offer.
- Just sold: when it sells. The price is left off.
- Testimonial and Post-settlement: these are not planned for you. To make one, change the stage on a draft and ask for a rewrite. See Get a caption rewritten, or change what kind of post it is.
- Leased: for a rental, when it is leased.
Not every listing gets every post. The first few are planned when you start the campaign. The later ones are drafted when the thing happens: ListingMate notices a price change, a new open home or a sale and prepares the post for you.
Words you will see
- Draft: a post that has been written and is waiting for you. It shows as Waiting for approval.
- Scheduled: approved, and waiting for its time.
- Published: it has gone out.
- Needs attention: it tried to go out and failed.
- Cancelled: you skipped or cancelled it, or it was stopped because the property sold.
