When a property sells, goes under offer or changes price
ListingMate stops the posts that no longer make sense and drafts the right one for you to approve.
If your website is connected
You do not need to do anything in ListingMate. Change the listing where you normally do. ListingMate picks the change up and reacts.
- Sold: the for sale posts still waiting are stopped, and a just sold post is drafted for you to approve.
- Leased: the same for a rental, with a leased post.
- Under offer: an under offer post is drafted.
- Price dropped: a price improvement post is drafted. A price that goes up, or a hidden price, drafts nothing.
- A new open home: an open home post is drafted for the day before.
- Withdrawn or off the market: the waiting posts are stopped and nothing is drafted.
Stopping posts is the one thing ListingMate does without asking, so an open home post never goes out for a house that sold on Tuesday. Everything it writes is a draft that waits for you.
Mark it yourself
- Step 1: Open Listings and tap the listing.
- Step 2: Press Mark under offer or Mark sold.
- Step 3: A question asks you to confirm. Press the same button again there. A draft post is prepared and waits in Approvals.
Things worth knowing
- The price is never shown on a just sold, leased or after settlement post. ListingMate will not state a result you have not given it.
- A post that was already approved for a property that has since sold is not sent. It shows as Cancelled with the reason.
- During the free trial, changes are followed for your listings. When the trial ends and you have not chosen a plan, changes are not followed.
The mark did not save
You see: Could not update.
Why: The change did not reach us.
- Step 1: The question stays open with the message in it. Press the button again.
- Step 2: If it fails twice, reload the page.
