Add a listing from its web address

Paste the link to a listing on your own website. ListingMate reads the details and photos off the page for you to check.

  1. Step 1: Open the listing on your own agency website and copy its address from the top of the browser.
  2. Step 2: In ListingMate, press New campaign at the top right. On a phone it is the plus button.
  3. Step 3: Choose Listing link.
  4. Step 4: Paste the address under Listing web address.
  5. Step 5: Press Read this listing.
  6. Step 6: The form fills in under Check these details. Read each field and correct anything that is wrong.
  7. Step 7: Check the photos. The first photo leads each post.
  8. Step 8: Set the Launch date. Add a First open home if there is one.
  9. Step 9: Press Generate campaign.

Writing the posts takes a few seconds. You are then taken to Approvals, where the drafts are waiting.

Warning: Use the listing's page on your own website. Links from realestate.com.au, Domain and the other portals cannot be read.

If your website refuses the link

Some websites block anything that is not a person in a browser. For those there is a button you keep in your browser's bookmarks bar.

  1. Step 1: On a computer, open New campaign and choose Listing link.
  2. Step 2: Find the card If your website refuses the link.
  3. Step 3: Drag the Send to ListingMate button up to your browser's bookmarks bar. Do not click it here. If you cannot see the bar, press Ctrl, Shift and B on Windows, or Cmd, Shift and B on a Mac.
  4. Step 4: Open the listing on your website and wait for the page to finish loading.
  5. Step 5: Click Send to ListingMate in your bookmarks bar. ListingMate opens with the listing filled in.
