What ListingMate can and cannot do on your Facebook Page
The permissions Facebook asks you to approve, why each one is needed, and what ListingMate never does.
You log in on Facebook's own page. ListingMate never sees or stores your Facebook password. What it keeps is a key for one Page, stored encrypted, that you can take away at any time with Disconnect.
What Facebook asks you to approve
- See the list of Pages you manage, so you can pick which one to post to.
- Create posts on that Page. This is how an approved post is published.
- Read the Page's posts and their engagement. Facebook will not let an app publish a photo to a Page without this one.
- Access through your business account, which Facebook needs when the Page belongs to a business portfolio.
- See your Instagram account's basic details, so the card can show which Instagram account is linked.
- Publish to that Instagram account.
What ListingMate does not do
- It does not post anything you have not approved, unless you have turned on Autopilot yourself.
- It does not read or send private messages.
- It does not post to your personal profile.
- It does not delete posts.
